1. HOW DO I REGISTER?

To register for a course, fill in the registration form, available on the desired course page.

 

2. HOW AND WHEN WILL THE COURSE BE ORGANIZED?

The course will be organized, subject to the establishment of the group of participants, on the established date, according to the schedule on the website www.isf.ro. The course coordinator will send, by email, to the registered persons all the necessary information regarding the organization of the course, at the moment of setting up the group of participants. Students will receive information about the agenda and the place where the course will take place. In case the group of participants is not constituted, the course coordinator will inform the persons enrolled in the respective course about the fact that it will not be organized and will return with information regarding the rescheduling of that course.

 

3. IS ATTENDANCE AT THE COURSE MANDATORY?

Attendance at courses is mandatory for at least 80% of the duration of the training program.

 

 

 

4. HOW DO I PAY THE PARTICIPATION FEE?

The participation fee is paid according to the Proforma Invoice, issued by the ISF platform, at the time of registration. This document is sent to each participant to the ISF courses, on the email address entered in the registration form, at the time of completing this process.

 

5. CAN I RECOVER MY PARTICIPATION FEE?

 

The participation fee can be returned:

  • in proportion of 85%, if the potential participant announces the withdrawal from the course at least 5 days before the start date;
  • 50%, if the potential participant announces the withdrawal from the course at least 3 days before the start date;

If the registered person does not participate in the course, the fee will not be refunded, except in duly justified cases (medical, family problems, etc.). In this case, a request for a refund of the participation fee shall be submitted, together with the supporting documents.

 

6. WHEN DO I RECEIVE THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION / PARTICIPATION OF THE COURSE?

The graduation / participation certificate is issued at a date subsequent to the completion of the program, but not later than 5 working days from that moment, the document being issued directly to the participant's account from the ISF platform.

 

7. CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE REVIEW IF I DO NOT PROMOTE THE COURSE?

In case of participation in programs that end with examination, punctual information regarding the examination process, respectively re-examination in case of non-promotion, will be provided by the coordinator of the training program.

 

8. I REGISTERED FOR AN ONLINE COURSE AND I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE ACCESS CONDITIONS ARE.

Upon completion of the registration on the ISF platform, you will be notified at the email address entered at the time of registration in the form, about the success of this process, and then you will receive another email on the email whose content you will find both the necessary credentials access to the e-learning platform in order to browse the course materials, as well as the contact details of the course coordinator from ISF, who can provide you with additional information if you need.

 

Important!!!! The online courses can be accessed 6 months from the date of receiving the message from the ISF course coordinator, at the expiration of this term, the student also having access to the e-learning / course platform.

 

 

EVALUATIONS / EXAMINATIONS

 

 

HOW IS REGISTRATION FOR A PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION FOR INSURANCE AND / OR REINSURANCE DISTRIBUTORS?

 

People who want to take a professional certification exam in order to obtain (initial professional certification) or to maintain their status as a distributor (continuous professional certification) register for the desired exam through the ISF Platform.

In order to register for an exam, the candidate must create a user account in the ISF Platform, accessing the Login button from the ISF website (www.isf.ro)

 

Important note: to access the ISF Platform, the following browser variants are recommended: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Edge.

How to use the ISF Platform, to register and take the professional certification exam, is described in the Candidate's Guide.

 

HOW DO I ENROLL / RE-ENROLL / RE-EXAM IN A CERTIFICATION EXAM?

 

To register for an exam it is necessary to follow the steps:

1. Access the ISF Platform using the account access credentials created in this application.

2. Access the Exams Catalog from where you select Classroom Exams or Online Exams, as appropriate.

3. For Classroom Examinations, select the examination session according to the location, date of the exam, type of exam, professional category for which you want to register, and from the right side of the screen access the Registration for Examination / Re-registration / Re-examination button, as appropriate (available filters are easily used to easily identify the desired examination in the room).

4. For Online Exams, select the exam session according to the type of exam and the professional category for which you want to register.

5. Registration for the exam at the hall / online is added to the shopping cart. To complete the registration process it is necessary to access: Shopping cart.

6. Follow the following sequence: PAY HERE - select the payment to be made Individually or by the Employer - Next step - choose the Payment Method (Mobile Pay / Bank Transfer) - Pay and purchase in full - Complete the payment - download the invoice and the Payment of the tax by bank instruments is made (if it has not been paid through MobilPay).

7. ATTENTION!

a. The payment of examination fees is made only on the basis of the proforma invoice. In order for the payment to be identified, it is mandatory to indicate in the payment details, the number of the proforma invoice;

b. Registration for a certification exam is considered to be completed only by issuing the Proforma Invoice and completing the payment.

8. In order to complete the registration for the exam, it is necessary to upload the registration file with the required documents, depending on the type of exam and the professional category. The documents are all scanned into a single document in .pdf format and saved with the name - the candidate's CNP.

9. To upload the file, from the My Certifications menu, to the exam for which the registration was made, access the blue File button, then select the Modify section and click on Upload Documents / Upload Documents from the Personal Folder and Save.

10. Checking the correctness of the registration is done from the My Certifications menu where the registration is available, after which the confirmation notifications were received, and by accessing the blue File button, related to the registration, the upload file is checked in the Display section.

 

IMPORTANT SPECIFICATIONS:

 

The candidate must ensure that all the documents required by the Methodology on the certification of insurance and / or reinsurance distributors are uploaded to the desired examination.

WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR A PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION OF AN INSURANCE AND / OR REINSURANCE DISTRIBUTOR?

The documents for enrolling in an initial or continuing professional certification exam are indicated in the Methodology on the certification of insurance and / or reinsurance distributors.

 

 

CAN PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION EXAMS BE HELD ONLINE?

The initial professional certification exam can only be taken in the classroom.

The continuous professional certification exam can be taken online or at the gym.

The Methodology regarding the certification of insurance and / or reinsurance distributors specifies the rules regarding the participation in the examination at the respective room online.

The online examination of insurance and / or reinsurance distributors is performed on MONDAY, TUESDAY and THURSDAY (except for the legal days declared non-working), between the hours of 09: 00-16: 00.

 

WHEN IS THE LOCATION AND TIME WHEN AN EXAMINATION SESSION IS SCHEDULED AT THE HALL?

ISF posts quarterly in the ISF Platform, in the Home section, the planning of classroom examinations at national level. For each examination, the details of the place shall be indicated.

After validating the registration for the examination, the candidate receives, both by e-mail and in his account created in the ISF Platform, the information on the place and time at which he must appear for the examination at the hall.

It is recommended that the candidate take the exam at the hall about 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

 

HOW TO PROCEED IN A SITUATION IN WHICH ENROLLMENT FOR AN EXAM WAS NOT APPROVED?

If the registration for an exam has not been approved, a new registration is made, proceeding as follows:

a) the re-registration for a new exam is accessed from the ISF Platform, from the exam menu at the classroom / online;

b) a new proforma invoice is generated, payment by bank transfer is selected and then the order is completed;

c) it is not necessary to make a new payment of the examination fee, but it is necessary to load in the re-registration file and the PO through which the payment was made for the examination for which the refused status was received.

 

HOW CAN A SIMULATION OF AN EXAM BE PERFORMED?

In the Examination Platform there is the possibility to simulate an exam as well as the possibility to consult the questions used in the knowledge assessment process by examination.

The SIMULATION can be accessed on Wednesdays between 09:00 and 16:00, and on Fridays, between 09:00 and 14:00.

 

WHEN CAN I PARTICIPATE IN AN ONLINE EXAM?

After validating the registration for the online exam and receiving the approval (in the candidate's account and in the e-mail provided by him), the candidate can take the online exam, through the ISF platform, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays of the week, except declared non-working, between 09:00 and 16:00.

Attention: The online exam is video-surveilled and recorded throughout.

Note: Online exam records are kept for 2 working days, except in the following situations:

a) for which the candidate has submitted the appeal of the result of the examination and for which the registrations are maintained for 5 working days;

b) for which the candidate has been declared ELIMINATED from the exam, for which the records are kept for at least 6 months.

Before actually taking the online exam, the candidate is advised to check that he has a good internet connection and that the equipment used to take the exam meets the technical conditions of video monitoring specified in the Methodology on certification of insurance and / or reinsurance distributors and in the document provided in the Terms and Conditions that can be accessed from the ISF Platform (in the section https://platforma.isfin.ro/ro/termeni-si-conditii). This check cannot be performed on days when online exams are taken.

 

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE EXAM?

Regardless of how the exam is held, at the gym or online, its duration is 40 minutes.

 

WHAT IS THE PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION EXAM?

The professional certification exam consists of taking a grid test with 40 questions. Each question has three possible answers, of which only one is correct.

 

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM SCORE REQUIRED TO BE DECLARED ADMITTED AFTER THE EXAM?

To be declared Admitted, the candidate must obtain a minimum of 32 points, out of a maximum of 40 points.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE ONLINE EXAM IS INTERRUPTED?

The online exam may be interrupted due to inadequate internet speed, which is why the candidate is removed from the exam. In this case, if the candidate has not accumulated the minimum number of points required for promotion (32 points), he must resume the registration process for re-examination.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CASE OF THE CANDIDATE ELIMINATED FROM THE EXAM?

A candidate who fails to comply with the examination conditions during the examination shall be removed from the examination by the supervisory board and shall be declared ELIMINATED. He is forbidden to participate in another exam for 6 months.

After the expiration of the 6 months, the eliminated candidate may take another exam under the following conditions:

a) for the initial professional training, the candidate resumes the initial professional training process before enrolling in the certification exam.

b) for the continuous professional training, the registration for the examination is conditioned by the presentation of the proof of completion of a professional training program with the theme Ethics and professional deontology in the field of insurance and / or reinsurance distribution.

 

HOW LONG IT TAKES TO FIND OUT THE RESULT ON THE EXAM?

The result of the exam held at the hall is displayed in the candidate's account and is also sent by e-mail, within 3 working days from the date of the exam.

The result of the exam taken online is displayed in the candidate's account and is sent by e-mail, immediately after the end of the exam / expiration of the exam time.

 

UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS CAN THE CANDIDATE CHALLENGE THE RESULT OBTAINED?

Within 2 working days from receiving the result of the examination, the candidate has the opportunity to submit an appeal by filling in the appeal form from his account and paying the fee for reanalyzing the result (appeal fee). The submission of an appeal will be completed with an order.

In the absence of payment of the appeal fee, the appeal is not analyzed.

The section dedicated to appeals is exclusively for contesting the result obtained after taking a certification exam.

 

UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS IS THE APPEAL FEE REFUNDED?

The candidate declared Admitted after the appeal will be refunded the appeal fee.

 

UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS CAN THE TEST BE CARRIED OUT?

The visualization of the test taken by the candidate can be done if he submits an appeal for the result obtained after taking the exam, according to the Methodology on certification of insurance and / or reinsurance distributors, and specifies that he also wants to view the test. The test can be viewed within a maximum of 30 days from the date of the exam, at the ISF headquarters or in the regional ISF Centers (Brașov, Timișoara, Iași) in the presence of ISF representatives.

 

WHEN IS THE RELEASE CERTIFICATE ISSUED?

Candidate declared Admitted:

a) following the exam, he receives by e-mail and in his account from the ISF Platform the Graduation Certificate and the descriptive supplement, within 2 working days from the date of communication of the exam result,

b) after the appeal, he receives by e-mail and in his account from the ISF Platform the Graduation Certificate and the descriptive supplement, after entering the result.

The graduation certificate and the related descriptive supplement are available in the candidate's account, as long as they are valid, and can be downloaded and printed (double-sided).

 

IN WHAT SITUATION CAN A DUPLICATE OF THE GRADUATE CERTIFICATE BE REQUESTED?

The duplicate shall be issued on request in one of the following situations: loss, destruction or theft of the original graduation certificate. The duplicate fee is paid for issuing the duplicate.

 

WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED TO OBTAIN A DUPLICATE AND WHERE TO BE SUBMITTED?

The duplicate of the certificate shall be issued at the request of the candidate, including in the case of deletion of the e-mail received by the candidate with the certificate obtained:

In order to issue the duplicate, the candidate sends the necessary documents to the e-mail address: suport.examinari@isf.ro.

The documents required to issue the duplicate are:

a) request for the issuance of the duplicate, as well as the declaration on one's own responsibility given by the holder of the document (included in the application), which includes all the necessary elements for: identification of the holder, circumstances in which the original document was lost and other details confirms the loss / destruction / theft of the respective act. The document mentions the following: "the study certificate was not left as a pledge / guarantee to another state / private institution, in the country or abroad and was not knowingly alienated to another natural or legal person";

b) copy of the identity document, valid on the date of the request.

 

HOW LONG WILL THE DUPLICATE BE ISSUED?

The deadline for issuing duplicates is a maximum of 5 working days from the date of registration with the ISF of the applicant's application.

The duplicates are issued under the signature of the holder / proxy, or at their request they are sent through the courier service, bearing the transport fees.

 

WHEN SHOULD THE ANNUAL CONTINUOUS VOCATIONAL TRAINING APPROPRIATIONS BE ACCUMULATED?

The annual credits for continuous professional training must be accumulated as follows:

from the year following that in which the initial vocational training certificate was obtained, no later than 31 December;

by 31 December of each calendar year at the latest, in order to maintain the status of distributor held.

 

HOW CAN THE 20 ANNUAL CREDITS (15 HOURS) OF CONTINUOUS VOCATIONAL TRAINING BE ACCUMULATED?

Continuing vocational training credits can be accumulated as follows:

a) maximum 10 credits / year, accumulated following the participation in actions of a scientific, professional or mentoring nature, according to the criteria for allocating the continuous professional training credits mentioned in the Certification Methodology of insurance and / or reinsurance distributors;

b) at least 10 credits / year, related to the continuous professional training programs organized by the providers authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority, the providers approved by the Financial Supervisory Authority or by companies (approved suppliers and companies provide professional training programs to their own employees and / or or secondary intermediaries for which they are responsible).

 

WHERE SHOULD THE CREDITS BE LOADED FOR THEIR VALIDATION?

In order to request the validation of the accumulated credits, the candidate must upload the proof of the accumulation of the 20 annual credits. In this sense, the candidate accesses the ISF Platform, the User Menu, the Credits section.

Attention: the validation and registration of the credits is done only in the conditions in which the payment of the validation fee and their registration is confirmed.
