Institute of Financial Studies in partnership with Faculty of Economics and Business Administration within “Dunărea de Jos” University from Galați invites you on the date 20 January 2023, hour 10:00 to the Vocational Training Seminar SmartFIN@ISF. The seminar includes interactive presentations on the subject of career and presentations of case studies, technical and practical aspects from the domain of insurance, capital market, pensions.
Special guests at the session on 20 January 2023:
University Professor PhD Marian SIMINICĂ, Executive Director of ISF and university professor PhD at University of Craiova, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, teaches courses in the disciplines of Economic-Financial Analysis and Financial Diagnosis of the Firm and is a PhD supervisor in the domain of Accounting. Has extensive experience in university management, holding the position of Vice Dean of the Faculty (2008 – 2012), responsible for scientific research and quality assurance of education, as well as that of Dean, during the period 2012 – 2016. Was Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Faculties of Economics in Romania (2012-2016). Is a member of several professional associations in the economic domain, respectively: expert evaluator ANEVAR, being General Secretary of the association during the period 2016-2017; chartered accountant, member CECCAR; tax consultant, member CCFR. Since the year 2014 is Vice President of the Romanian Society of Economic-Financial Analysis (SRAEF). Since the year 2017 is a member of the CNATDCU Commission “Economic Sciences and Business Administration”, and since the year 2018 a member of the ARACIS Permanent Experts Commission, contributing to the external evaluation of numerous bachelor’s and master’s study programs in the economic domain. Has vast experience in scientific research activity materialized in the publication of 7 books and university manuals, over 60 articles in specialized journals, of which 12 articles in journals indexed Web of Science with non-zero AIS, participation in national and international conferences, participation in scientific research contracts as grant director or member of the research team. Is a reviewer for several journals indexed Web of Science and a member of the editorial board for several journals indexed in International Databases. The main research directions are: financial performance and risks of enterprises; sectoral economic-financial analyses; models for researching enterprise behavior.
Associate Professor PhD Laura Elly NAGHI, Doctor in the domain of Finance - Insurance with an experience of over 20 years in the domain of professional training of adults. Completed post-doctoral studies within ASE Bucharest in the domain of insurance. Has several books published in the financial domain, BDI articles, and frequent participations at international conferences. Authorized ANC trainer, with international certifications, participated in the development of professional training manuals specific to non-banking financial markets. Delivers presentations within events organized in the financial market, including financial education projects among students (middle school, high school) and pre-university teachers.
Alina SEBE is a graduate of Sociology within University of Bucharest and a master’s in Corporate Communication. Alina began her professional activity in HR in the year 2012, going through various areas of expertise (recruitment, training, organizational development). Since 2015 is in the UNIQA team, and currently coordinates the activity of training and organizational development. The development programs coordinated start from the reality that any experience transforms us and that we can become the best version of ourselves.
Horia GUSTĂ – Director at the Legal Department within SAI Muntenia Invest SA since April 2021, General Director of Certinvest Investment Management Company from the year 2010 until April 2021. Present on the capital market in Romania since the year 2000, working in the following domains: investment management, as Legal Advisor, internal control, and leader of SAI Certinvest; financial intermediation, through the positions held (Legal Advisor and Member of the Board of Directors) within Intercapital Invest; leasing, as Senior Legal Advisor within International Leasing. Graduate of the Faculty of Law within University of Bucharest. Since the month of March of the year 2022 also holds the position of President of the Association of Fund Managers in Romania.
