Bucharest, 16 March 2023 - The Institute of Financial Studies (ISF) announces with joy that, following the meeting on the date of 10 March of the General Assembly of the Association of Economics Faculties in Romania (AFER), the admission of the ISF into the AFER with the status of associate member was approved.
"For the Institute of Financial Studies, it is an honor to be admitted into the AFER - where it will be found alongside the faculties with an economic profile in Romania, together with which the Institute already carries out financial education and professional training programs. It is also a recognition of the contribution of the ISF to ensuring the training, improvement, and professional specialization of persons active in the field of financial services," declares Mr. Prof. univ. dr. Marian SIMINICĂ, Executive Director of the ISF.
With a history of 21 years of activity in the field of professional training and certification in financial markets, the Institute of Financial Studies notes here only a few remarkable achievements:
An online platform for examinations and evaluations that has been accessed over the years by: over 81,000 individual users, 253 users entities from the non-banking financial market, and 19 providers of educational programs authorized by the A.S.F. Almost 180,000 persons certified in the non-banking financial field Almost 27,000 participants in professional training sessions Over 300 technical and professional development programs 9 national accreditations and 5 international affiliations
The Institute of Financial Studies reiterates on this occasion its mission to actively contribute to achieving the objectives of the AFER as well as the objectives defined by its own operational strategy.
