The Institute of Financial Studies (ISF), in collaboration with Sport Arena Streetball, celebrated Children’s Day by organizing a sports and financial education event in Parcul Liniei. Approximately 50 children participated in competitions, combining fun with learning, and were awarded prizes.
The event was aimed at athletes up to 18 years old, and participation was free of charge.
As part of the event, basketball-themed competitions were organized, with the organizers providing prizes. As always, the Institute of Financial Studies (ISF) relied on the support of the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF), which joined the event by providing financial education materials.
The financial education materials provided to the children included useful information about:

Basic personal finance concepts, such as saving, budgeting, and debt management.

Encouraging the development of skills for planning future financial goals and setting objectives.

Inspiring and motivating young athletes to become “champions” in managing their money, promoting responsibility and financial autonomy.

Increasing confidence and self-understanding regarding financial matters and money-related decisions.
