The Institute of Financial Studies and the Financial Supervisory Authority, in partnership with the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești, invite you on November 13, 2024, at 10:00, to the SmartFIN@ISF Vocational Training Seminar & ASF Academic Laboratory. The seminar includes interactive presentations on the topic of non-banking finance and case study presentations, technical and practical aspects from the field of artificial intelligence in the financial market and the insurance market.
Special guests at the session on November 13, 2024:
Paul DUMITRU – works within the Financial Supervisory Authority, Monitoring and Financial Education Service. With a career spanning over 20 years (of which 15 years in insurance), Mr. Dumitru has worked for various multinational and local companies in corporate and entrepreneurial financial services, where he held several managerial positions at both local and regional levels (in Central and Eastern Europe). He is a graduate, top of his class, of the Politehnica University in Bucharest, holds a doctorate from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), an MBA (ASE / University of Ottawa), and is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, a certification in insurance from The Institutes (US).
Mihaela DUŢĂ – An economist by profession, she began her career in the insurance field in 2005. Since 2015, she has held the position of Branch Director at Omniasig Vienna Insurance Group S.A. She is a natural leader with a resilient and agile approach, high personal integrity, and a focus on building strong values in relationships with her team, clients, and collaborators. She is also actively involved in various volunteer programs, including serving as a lecturer in Financial Education courses organized by the Financial Supervisory Authority and the Institute of Financial Studies in schools, high schools, and universities, as well as mentoring activities with World Vision Romania.
