The financial education programs dedicated to the university environment, supported through seminars and webinars – SmartFin@ISF and ASF Academic Laboratory, will continue in 2025. These aim to enhance the skills and knowledge of students, future consumers of financial services (upon graduation) and potential employees in financial markets (insurance, banking, private pensions, investments).

The SmartFIN@ISF project began in 2021 and has so far included 196 meetings attended by 14,357 students. They received participation certificates from ISF, recognized by institutions active in the non-banking financial markets sector. Throughout 2024, 46 sessions (online and in-person) were organized, involving 3,703 students.

The project offers students the opportunity to access practical and useful information through such financial education seminars/webinars, with free and open participation.

SmartFIN will continue this year with the following organization:

  • In-person attendance – minimum 100 participating students.

  • Online participation – minimum 30 participating students.

Depending on the students’ needs, two training variants are offered in the non-banking financial markets sector:

  1. SmartFIN, consisting of diverse sessions of up to 90 minutes covering personal development aspects (career, presentation skills, interviews) combined with technical aspects specific to financial markets – the list of topics can be accessed here.

  2. ASF Academic Laboratory, consisting of detailed 60–120 minute sessions focusing on specific, applied, and interactive topics, with a level of difficulty tailored to the target audience. The topics are:

Insurance Fraud: Myths and Realities- Success Strategies in Insurance: Smart Sales and Negotiation

The Art of Time Management: How to Be Productive and Organized

Speculative Bubbles = Financial Illusions

Tangible vs. Virtual – Two Financial Worlds

Digital Fraud: Protect Your Money in the Online Era

Cyber-Safe: Guide to Financial Protection Against Cyber Risks

How Behavior Influences Non-Banking Financial Markets

Your Money, Your Future: Why Choose the Pillar III Private Pension?

It is recommended that events include topics from both SmartFIN@ISF and ASF Academic Laboratory.

The seminars are delivered by experts from the Financial Supervisory Authority, the Institute of Financial Studies, and entities active in the non-banking financial markets, partners of ISF.

Upon participation, students will receive Participation Certificates issued by ISF, recognized by institutions active in the non-banking financial markets sector.
