The Institute of Financial Studies and the Financial Supervisory Authority, in partnership with Ștefan cel Mare University in Suceava, invite you on January 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM, to the SmartFIN@ISF Vocational Training Seminar. The seminar includes interactive presentations, case study discussions, and technical and practical aspects related to artificial intelligence and financial education in the non-banking financial sector.
Special guests at the January 17, 2025 session:
Ieronim Ștefan - holds a degree in Public Administration and Management and a master’s degree in Banking and Insurance, both obtained from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Craiova. With a solid background in economics, he has gained professional experience at the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) in the financial-accounting department and at the Insured Guarantee Fund (FGA). Since 2020, he has been part of the Institute of Financial Studies (ISF) team, where, since 2024, he coordinates the Financial Education Department. He is certified as a Trainer and Project Manager.
Paul Dumitru - works within the Financial Supervisory Authority, in the Monitoring and Financial Education Service. With a career spanning over 20 years (including 15 years in insurance), Mr. Dumitru has worked for various multinational and local companies in corporate and entrepreneurial financial services, holding several managerial positions both locally and regionally (in Central and Eastern Europe). He is a top graduate of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, holds a PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), an MBA from ASE / University of Ottawa, and is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, a certification in insurance from The Institutes (US).
