The Financial Studies Institute, in partnership with "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad, is organizing from October 16–18, 2025, the plenary session – FINANCIAL EDUCATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA: THE ROLE OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN DEVELOPING ECONOMIC COMPETENCIES.
The event is part of the International Conference "Ongoing Social, Economic, and Environmental Challenges", 3rd Edition – OSEEC 2025, with institutional partners: the Financial Supervisory Authority, the Association of Fund Managers, the National Union of Insurance-Reinsurance Companies in Romania, and the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The main objectives of the conference are to bring together researchers in the economic fields from national and international partner institutions and to create a working group to promote sustainable measures regarding the formation and development of economic competencies as a result of practicing financial education.
Among other topics, the conference focuses on collaboration between the academic environment and the business sector to support the following objectives:

Transforming financial education through digital innovation and advanced research

Strengthening the role of scientific research in the development of economic competencies
