Bucharest, May 28, 2021 - The Financial Supervision Authority (ASF) and the Institute of Financial Studies (ISF) organized, in the school year 2020-2021, the second edition of the Be ProFIN! within the Start2Teach educational program, dedicated to teachers, in order to promote financial education in pre-university education.

 

The competition consisted in the elaboration, by the teachers, of some lesson plans with the theme Consumer relationship with non-banking financial institutions - Insurance products and services, in order to support an hour of financial education from the syllabus of Economic-financial education for class VIII- a, approved by Order of the Minister of National Education.

 

A jury composed of representatives of ASF and ISF awarded with a tablet the best 10 lesson plans submitted in the contest. The winning teachers of the current edition are:

  •     Nicoleta Mădălina Budu (“Virgil Madgearu” Economic Technological High School, Iași),
  •     Gherghina Maria Putnic (with two award-winning lesson plans - “Atanasie Cojocaru” Gymnasium School, Pojejena, Caraș Severin),
  •     Elena Daniela Dobromirescu (Mătăsari Technical College, Gorj),
  •     Alin Dobromirescu (Mătăsari Technical College, Gorj),
  •     Marusia Amalia Brabete (Secondary School no. 1, Oțelu Roșu, Caraș Severin),
  •     Ildiko Lina Magyari (Ogra Secondary School, Mureș),
  •     Elena Roxana Vișan (“Mihai Eminescu” Secondary School, Bradu - Argeș)
  •     Ștefana Vasile (Secondary School no. 2, Crețești - Vidra, Ilfov).
