The Financial Supervision Authority (ASF) and the Institute of Financial Studies (ISF) run the Start2Teach program, in collaboration with the territorial school inspectorates. This program is dedicated to pre-university teachers and its main objective is to provide support for teachers who teach notions of financial education.

 

In order to support the teaching activity, in a competitive environment, within this program, ASF and ISF have initiated a competition dedicated to teachers. The theme of the competition is the elaboration of a lesson plan having as subject the Consumer's relationship with non-banking financial institutions - Insurance products and services. The lesson plan will refer to the time (lesson) related to the specific competence 1.2. from the said program.

 

In order to enter this contest, participants will submit a proposal for a lesson plan (sheet), according to the standards in the field, for an hour of financial education in the curriculum of Economic-Financial Education for the eighth grade, approved by Ministerial Order Of National Education no. 3393 / 28.02.2017.

The registration of the works in the contest will be made on the e-mail address edu@asfromania.ro. The contest will take place between March 2 and June 12, 2020 (registration period). The top 10 lesson plans will be awarded 10 tablets, with the winners to be announced at the end of June 2020.
