On October 24, 2018, the Institute of Financial Studies in partnership with the Association for Culture, University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology and the University of Arts in Târgu Mures, organized the Conference "100 years of financial education", which had place in Tîrgu-Mureș, within the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology and which enjoyed a number of 150 participants, mainly students of the Tîrgu Mureș University Center.
The conference is part of the project "Manifestations, actions and projects of the anniversary of the Centenary of Romania (1918 - 2018) and the First World War", events that took place between 18-28 October 2018 in Târgu-Mureș and which took place under the motto “100 years in 10 days”, within the cultural project organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and National Identity.
During the scientific event, topics of interest were debated that include various representative areas of education with an emphasis on financial education, on the one hand, and art education, on the other hand. The experience brought by the Institute of Financial Studies from Bucharest and the University of Arts from Târgu-Mureș, within this event contributes to an interdisciplinary approach, both theoretical and practical, of the existing problems in education, from a historical perspective, with solutions. for the future.
The Conference discussed topics of interest related mainly to the evolution of financial services, such as "Preliminaries in the history of enterprise finance in Romania", "Abbreviated history of the insurance brokerage market in Romania", "Insurance trends - skills in the context of new financial services technologies ”.
