Invitation to participate in the study "Financial behavior and financial well-being"

 

On Thursday, April 19, 2018, the Institute of Financial Studies participated in the launch of the research project on the relationship Financial Education - Healthy Financial Behavior - Financial Welfare, developed by the Faculty of Administration and Business (University of Bucharest), through the master's program Behavioral Economics. The project is initiated by Cecilia Băsu, master student of the program and also trainer in personal finance and business consultant, and is carried out in partnership with the Romanian Association for Reconstruction and Social Infrastructure (ARRIS).

 

The launch event was also attended by representatives of specialized institutions such as the National Bank of Romania, the Financial Supervisory Authority, the Association of Fund Managers in Romania, specialists in the financial-banking industry, representatives from business and academia. Beyond participation, they expressed their intention to support the project by disseminating the questionnaire as widely as possible.

The main purpose of the study is to identify the relevance of complementary intervention methods to improve financial behavior, respectively to capitalize on the knowledge gained through classical financial education.
