The “Training of Pre-University Teaching Staff in the Non-Banking Financial Sector (FinTTT)” program is an accredited continuous professional training program aimed at pre-university teaching staff, based on the Order of the Minister of Education and Research No. 3559/29.03.2021.

The target group of this program consists of secondary school teachers from across the country who will benefit, in the autumn of 2022 as well, from free continuous professional training courses in financial education.

As a provider of professional training programs accredited by the ANC and certified by the A.S.F., the Institute of Financial Studies Foundation, in partnership with the Financial Supervisory Authority, has developed a 60-hour training program, adhering to the principles and quality standards relevant to the educational process. By completing this program, accredited for a period of 4 years, graduates will receive 15 transferable professional credits.

In this regard, the FinTTT program has as its general objective the improvement of the level of financial education among teachers – influential figures for students – through a coordinated national effort that will ensure the achievement of the main strategic objectives of improving the financial well-being of the population by increasing the level of financial education.

The program will provide participants with access to in-person training sessions (depending on the sanitary conditions during the session period) and online sessions, study materials (textbooks, online test collections, video materials, evaluation tools, applications, and other teaching tools), as well as evaluation methods, in compliance with the standard principles of the evaluation process.

During the program, both synchronous online sessions will be organized via the ZOOM application, and access to training materials will be provided on the organizer’s online platform. Additionally, throughout the 60 hours of professional training, participants will benefit from the support of specialized trainers through consultation sessions.

The program, which has already organized 21 groups, will continue with new groups starting in September 2022, and interested teachers can register on the participant list by completing and sending their expression of interest to finttt@isf.ro.

The number of participants is limited to 25 people, in the order of registrations.
