For the fourth year since obtaining accreditation, ISF has organized professional training sessions aimed at pre-university teachers who teach or will teach Economic-Financial Education in secondary education, to comply with the requirements for continuous professional training. Within the FinTTT program, the training process includes both online training sessions organized as online meetings (synchronous sessions) and asynchronous training sessions on the ISF e-learning platform, with ongoing activities related to organization, monitoring, technical support, and participant evaluation.
Throughout 2024, the FinTTT program organized 6 groups of participants, totaling 135 enrolled teachers and 360 hours of training.
Upon completion of the 60-hour training sessions, participants who recorded at least 80% attendance had the opportunity to prepare and submit an educational portfolio, which was evaluated by a committee in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Education Order no. 5564/2011, as amended and supplemented, as well as OME no. 4224/06.07.2022 regarding the implementation of continuous professional development programs.
Graduates of the 6 completed groups presented final projects in the fields of insurance, private pensions, and the capital market.
FinTTT is part of the continuous professional training programs provided free of charge by the Institute of Financial Studies Foundation for all segments involved in the non-banking financial market, in the format of a course targeting teaching staff in secondary education who teach the Social Education subject. The training program consists of 60 hours (30 hours online via the Zoom platform and 30 hours of e-learning), offering 15 continuous training credits for participants.
Since the accreditation date, 952 teachers have participated in the FinTTT program sessions.
