The Institute of Financial Studies and the Financial Supervisory Authority organize, in the period 1-2 February 2023, in Cluj-Napoca, the Vocational Training Seminar - SmartFIN & Academic Laboratory and SME Hub, two financial education programs aimed at students and entrepreneurs, respectively.
The two seminars will take place within the framework of the conference Diversity challenges and stakeholders' engagement in Finance and FinAI, developed in partnership with Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB) in Cluj-Napoca.
Students participating in the SmartFIN@ISF Seminar & Academic Laboratory will attend a course on sales techniques in insurance. At the same time, within the SME Hub, a meeting will take place between representatives of the Authority and entrepreneurs from Cluj, where possible approaches offered by non-banking financial markets to support the concrete needs of the entrepreneurial environment will be presented, thus developing and strengthening the financial education initiative jointly carried out by ISF and A.S.F..
The conference will also address current topics related to Digital Finance, FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning applied in the field of financial markets.
Financial education represents, for both the Institute of Financial Studies and the Financial Supervisory Authority, a strategic objective and, at the same time, a fundamental, long-term project aimed at students, pupils, teachers, and the general public, with the goal of developing financial markets.
