The ISF professional training program for primary school teachers, StartFIN, continues

The Institute of Financial Studies (ISF) was accredited by the Ministry of Education, starting on August 3, 2022, to organize a continuous professional development program for primary school teachers, which provides the development of specific financial education skills.

The StartFIN program (Training of teaching staff in primary education in the financial field) consists of 40 hours and offers 10 continuous training credits to participants. The program is accredited for 4 years in a blended learning format, with 20 hours organized synchronously online and 20 hours organized asynchronously, thus providing the advantage of remote participation for teachers across the country.

In 2025, ISF continues to offer, free of charge, training opportunities for teachers in primary education. Since the accreditation date, 1013 teachers have participated in the StartFIN program sessions.

The purpose of the StartFIN program, organized by the Institute of Financial Studies in partnership with the Financial Supervisory Authority, is to develop technical knowledge specific to financial markets for teachers in primary education. The program is designed to disseminate financial concepts among students and young people. Interested teachers can register directly at the email address startfin@isf.ro. The number of participants is limited to 25 per group, based on the order of registration. If this limit is exceeded, individuals will be enrolled in the next available group.
