The Institute of Financial Studies and the Financial Supervisory Authority, in partnership with the West University in Timișoara, invite you on March 26, 2024, at 11:20 to the SmartFIN@ISF Vocational Training Seminar & ASF Academic Laboratory. The seminar includes interactive presentations on career topics, case studies, and technical and practical aspects from the fields of insurance, capital markets, and pensions.
Special Guests at the March 26 Session:
- Paul DUMITRU works within the Financial Supervisory Authority, Monitoring and Financial Education Service. With a career spanning over 20 years (including 15 years in insurance), Mr. Dumitru has worked for various multinational and local companies in corporate and entrepreneurial financial services, where he held several managerial positions at both local and regional levels (in Central and Eastern Europe). He is a graduate, valedictorian, of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, holds a PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), an MBA (ASE / University of Ottawa), and is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, a certification in insurance from The Institutes (US).
- Laurențiu RIVIS is currently a Director at Lion Capital SA (formerly SIF Banat-Crișana) and Vice-President at the Central Depository. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the “Vasile Goldiș” West University in Arad (class of 2002). He has been working and has nearly 20 years of experience in the capital market.
