The Institute for Financial Studies, having as institutional partner the Financial Supervisory Authority, is pleased to invite you to the European Conference of Financial Services – ECFS 2026, FINANCIAL EDUCATION AND THE MATURATION OF FINANCIAL MARKETS ADAPTED TO OECD ACCESSION CRITERIA, 10th Edition, taking place on March 19–20, 2026, in Brașov, at Hotel Kronwell.
The event brings together professionals from the financial sector, academia, and regulatory authorities who will debate topics such as:
- The role of financial education in strengthening the financial market;
- Aligning financial markets with OECD standards and best practices;
- The maturation of financial markets and strengthening trust in the financial sector;

Panel – Consumer Protection and Alternative Dispute Resolution
14:00–15:30 The panel includes a debate on consumer protection mechanisms and the role of alternative dispute resolution in strengthening trust in non-banking financial markets. Discussions will address the applicable legislative and institutional framework, the effectiveness of amicable dispute resolution procedures, the level of consumer information and financial education, as well as challenges generated by digitalization and the diversification of financial products.
