ISF inaugurates the first summer school dedicated to the capital market

 

Bucharest, June 15, 2021 - The Institute of Financial Studies (ISF) inaugurated the first summer school dedicated to professionals in the capital market. The event was organized between 08-09 June 2021, attended by dozens of professionals from the capital market. They have thus completed their compulsory continuing education for 2021.

 

The event enjoyed a diverse and important audience in the field and was organized online. For the professions mentioned in the regulations in the field - respectively risk manager, investment consultant, financial consultant, value-added sessions were offered, but also the possibility to comply with the requirements of continuous professional training for 2021, according to ASF Regulation no. 28/2020.

 

The topics included in the program were: "Investor Relations, from theory to practice", "Introduction to Behavioral Finance. "Investors" and "Trading in financial instruments". During these training sessions, topics of interest to the market were reached, being supported both by professionals in the field and by representatives of the Financial Supervisory Authority.

 

"By organizing this event, ISF strengthens its essential contribution in the training of professionals in the capital market. We are committed to complying with the European directives on compulsory continuing education and to increasing the level of financial education at national level both when it comes to consumers and when it comes to professionals. The feedback was extremely good. The discussions and the exchange of information were very useful and applicable from the point of view of the notions included and easy to transpose in their current activity ”, explained Marian Siminică, the executive director of ISF.
