The Institute of Financial Studies announces the conclusion of the SmartFIN and ASF Academic Laboratory sessions for the year 2024, recording significant results: 46 training sessions, 39 trainers involved, and 3,703 participants within 22 partner universities.
SmartFIN and ASF Academic Laboratory is a financial education program developed by ISF in partnership with the Financial Supervisory Authority, aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of students, future consumers of financial services, and potential professionals in non-banking financial markets.
During the 2024 sessions, students had the opportunity to participate in interactive seminars delivered by experts from ASF, ISF, and partner entities. The topics covered included both technical aspects specific to financial markets (insurance, private pensions, investments) and personal development topics, such as career or presentation skills.
The SmartFIN and ASF Academic Laboratory project, launched in 2021, has so far attracted 16,306 participants to 221 sessions. All participants received participation certificates recognized by institutions in the non-banking financial markets sector, adding significant value to their academic and professional training.
Starting in 2024, SmartFIN and ASF Academic Laboratory continue to be a benchmark in financial education in Romania, offering both in-person and online sessions tailored to the needs and interests of students across the country.
