Mircea Ștefan SOLOVĂSTRU – with over 25 years of professional experience in the Capital Market, graduated in economics from the “Babeș-Bolyai” University in Cluj-Napoca – class of 1997. Always focused on his professional and educational development in the Capital Market, he completed a Master’s degree program in Banking and Capital Markets in 2006 at the same university. Later, in 2014, he obtained a PhD in Economics with a focus on Finance, with the research topic “Consolidation of the Capital Market in Romania, Present and Perspectives”. Professionally, he began his career in the Capital Market in 1996 at Unicapital SA – Financial Services and Investment Company (SSIF), as a regional director. From 2007 to 2011, he conducted teaching activities as a senior lecturer at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Târgu-Mureș. Between 2019-2020 and 2021-2022, he served as an associate professor at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, and since March 2022, at the CNAI (National College of Internal Affairs). Since 2013, he has been the vice-president of the Organization of Capital Market Professionals. Since April 2014, he has been a full member of the Admission to Trading Committee (Special Advisory Committee of the Bucharest Stock Exchange), currently in his 4th term. His professional experience led to his appointment in 2011 as a Member of the Board of Directors of SSIF Swiss Capital S.A., a Financial Services and Investment Company, one of the top three brokers on the Romanian Capital Market. Swiss Capital is recognized in the market as the company that facilitated some of the largest transactions on the Romanian Capital Market. December 2020 marked his election as a member of the Board of Directors of CCP.RO Bucharest SA – Central Counterparty, a major project for the operation of the Capital Market and Energy Market in Romania, with the potential to be made available to other countries.
Cristina Lidia GAL is a surveying engineer, ANEVAR evaluator with specializations in Business Valuation, Real Estate, and Movable Assets. She completed two Master’s degrees: Mineral Resources Valorization and Financial, Accounting, and Administrative Management. She has been active at Omniasig VIG since 1997, holding successive positions as Insurance and Claims Inspector, Head of the Sebeș Agency, and Director of the Alba Branch from 2009 to the present. Over her 28 years of activity at one of the largest insurance companies, she has worked in key departments, handling retail and corporate underwriting, auto and non-auto claims processing, risk inspections, and the sale of retail, AMM, and corporate insurance products. During 2023, she participated in the Start2Learn program organized by ASF in partnership with ISF, where she presented information about the Insurance Market to 11th-grade students from the Mihai Viteazul National Military College, Horea Cloșca and Crișan National College, Dionisie Pop Marțian Economic College, and Apulum College.
