The Institute of Financial Studies in partnership with the “1 Decembrie 1918” University from Alba Iulia through the Faculty of Economic Sciences invites you on the date of 21 November 2023, hour – 15:00 to the Vocational Training Seminar SmartFIN@ISF, which will take place in the Senate Hall. The seminar includes interactive presentations on the subject of career and presentations of case studies, technical and practical aspects from the field of insurance, capital market, pensions.
Special guests at the session of 21 November:
Prof. univ. dr. Marian SIMINICĂ, Executive Director of the ISF and university professor doctor at the University of Craiova, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, teaches courses in the disciplines of Economic-Financial Analysis and Financial Diagnosis of the Firm and is a doctoral supervisor in the field of Accounting. Has a rich experience in university management, holding the position of Vice-Dean of the Faculty (2008 – 2012), responsible for scientific research and quality assurance of education, as well as that of Dean, in the period 2012 – 2016. Was Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Economics Faculties in Romania (2012-2016). Is a member of several professional associations in the economic field, respectively: expert evaluator ANEVAR, being General Secretary of the association in the period 2016-2017; expert accountant, member CECCAR; tax consultant, member CCFR. Since the year 2014 is Vice-President of the Romanian Society of Economic-Financial Analysis (SRAEF). Since the year 2017 is a member of the CNATDCU Commission “Economic Sciences and Business Administration”, and since the year 2018 a member of the ARACIS Permanent Experts Commission, contributing to the external evaluation of numerous bachelor’s and master’s study programs in the economic field. Has a vast experience in scientific research activity materialized in the publication of 7 books and university manuals, over 60 articles in specialized journals, of which 12 articles in journals indexed Web of Science with non-zero AIS, participation in national and international conferences, participation in scientific research contracts as grant director or member of the research team. Is a reviewer for several journals indexed Web of Science and a member of the editorial board for several journals indexed in International Databases. The main research directions are: financial performance and risks of enterprises; sectoral economic-financial analyses; models for researching enterprise behavior.
Mircea Ștefan SOLOVĂSTRU, with a professional experience in the field of the Capital Market of over 25 years, graduated in the economic field at the “Babeș-Bolyai” University from Cluj-Napoca – class of 1997. Always concerned with his own professional and educational development in the field of the Capital Market, he graduated in 2006 from the master’s program in Banking and Capital Markets at the same university. Subsequently, in 2014, he obtained the title of doctor in economics, finance field, with the research topic “Consolidation of the Capital Market in Romania, present and perspectives”. From a professional perspective, he began in the Capital Market in 1996 at Unicapital SA - Financial Services and Investment Company (SSIF), regional director. In the period 2007-2011, he carried out teaching activities as associate professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Târgu-Mureș. In the periods 2019-2020 and 2021-2022, he is found at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest as an associate academic, and starting from March 2022 at the CNAI (National College of Internal Affairs). Since 2013, he has been vice-president of the Organization of Capital Market Professionals. Starting from April 2014, he is a full member of the Admission to Trading Commission (Special Advisory Commission of the Bucharest Stock Exchange), being in his 4th mandate. His professional experience has recommended him to hold, since 2011, the position of Member of the Board of Directors of SSIF Swiss Capital S.A., Financial Services and Investment Company, one of the top three brokers on the Capital Market in Romania. Swiss Capital is recognized in the market as the company that brokered some of the largest transactions on the Capital Market in Romania. December 2020 marks his election as a member of the Board of Directors of CCP.RO Bucharest SA - Central Counterparty, a major project for the operation of the Capital Market and the Energy Market in Romania, with the potential to be made available to other countries.
Tudor IRIMIEA graduated from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Management in Cluj-Napoca in 2007, specializing in the Economics of Commerce, Tourism, and Services. In the period 2007-2008, he worked as a Risk Analyst at CEC Bank S.A., and in 2008-2009, he held the position of Relationship Manager at Intesa Sanpaolo S.A. Bank. Since 2013, he holds the position of stockbroker at SSIF BRK Financial Group S.A. and in 2015, he founded the first investors’ club in Romania. Since July 2017, he joined the BT Asset Management SAI S.A. team with direct responsibilities for promoting products in Transylvania. From 01.04.2022, he was promoted to the position of Sales and Marketing Director.
Ramona Ardeleanu joined the sales force of NN Asigurări de Viață in 2012 and has been a Unit Manager since 2014. In this role, Ramona is responsible for the activity and development of the team of financial consultants in Alba Iulia, and together they support clients in building a financial plan to protect what matters most to them and ensure a better financial future.
