The Institute of Financial Studies in partnership with the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE Bucharest) through the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking, and Stock Exchanges (FABBV), invites you on December 5, 2022, at 09:00 to the SmartFIN@ISF Vocational Training Seminar. The seminar includes interactive presentations on career topics and case studies, as well as technical and practical aspects from the fields of insurance, capital markets, and pensions.

Conf. univ. dr. Laura Elly NAGHI, Doctor in the field of Finance - Insurance with over 20 years of experience in adult professional training. She completed post-doctoral studies at ASE Bucharest in the field of insurance. She has published several books in the financial field, BDI articles, and frequently participates in international conferences. An ANC-authorized trainer with international certifications, she has contributed to the development of professional training manuals specific to non-banking financial markets. She delivers presentations at events organized in the financial market, including financial education projects for students (middle school, high school) and pre-university teachers.
Alexandru CIUNCAN, President and General Director of UNSAR, has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and private pension sectors in Central and Eastern Europe, with particular expertise in business conduct, regulation, consumer protection, media, and financial journalism. Since September 2018, Alexandru has held the position of General Director of UNSAR – the National Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies in Romania, and since August 2019, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of ISF – the Institute of Financial Studies. Between 2013 and 2018, Alexandru was a member of the IRSG and OPSG, the two stakeholder groups of EIOPA – the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority, contributing to the development and discussion of legislative acts with long-term impact on the insurance and private pension industries. During the same period, he served as General Secretary of APPA – the Association for the Promotion of Insurance – an NGO that developed the first national consumer information and education campaigns – and as Managing Partner of XPRIMM, a Romanian media company specialized in the insurance industry in CEE and SEE. Alexandru CIUNCAN graduated from the Faculty of Management at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, holds a Professional Certificate in Management (OPEN University Business School, UK), and is a licensed PMP-Project Management Professional and ACP-Agile Certified Professional (Project Management Institute, USA).
