The Institute of Financial Studies and the Financial Supervisory Authority, in partnership with the "Babeș-Bolyai" University in Cluj-Napoca, invite you on 21 May 2024, at 09:40, to the SmartFIN@ISF Vocational Training Seminar & A.S.F. Academic Laboratory. The seminar includes interactive presentations on topics such as: the role and importance of financial education in non-banking financial markets, the insurance market, and Allianz Turkey: a case study.

Ieronim ȘTEFAN – Coordinator of the Financial Education Department at ISF
Paul DUMITRU – works within the Financial Supervisory Authority, Monitoring and Financial Education Service. With a career spanning over 20 years (of which 15 years in insurance), Mr. Dumitru has worked for various multinational and local companies in corporate and entrepreneurial financial services, where he held several managerial positions at both local and regional levels (in Central and Eastern Europe). He is a graduate, top of his class, of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, holds a PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), an MBA (ASE/University of Ottawa), and is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, a certification in insurance from The Institutes (US).
Roxana BĂLUȚĂ – Program Coordinator and Life and Health Insurance Specialist at UNSAR – National Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies in Romania, with a career of over 15 years in insurance, including 8 years of extensive experience in reshaping and improving operational processes, as well as developing insurance products. Before joining the professional association of insurers, Roxana was responsible for project management at one of the most well-known companies in the industry. Currently, Roxana manages several programs within UNSAR, while also coordinating the activities of the Marketing, Communication, and PR Group, the Digitalization and Innovation Group, and the Life and Health Insurance Section.
