The third edition of the Start2Learn: Personal Finance project, aimed at high school students in the 11th grade in the fall of the 2023-2024 school year, organized by the Financial Supervisory Authority and the Institute of Financial Studies, concluded on the date of 15 December 2023. The project provided the basic notions that a student needs to start planning their financial goals and to help them lay the foundations for a healthy financial life. The trainers, specialists in the non-banking financial sector, addressed 6 topics during the classes in the first and second editions: Needs and wants, Personal budget, Money and banks, The insurance market, The capital market, and The private pension market. Also, in the third edition, 4 topics were addressed: Money and banks, The insurance market, The capital market, and The private pension market.

The project was initiated in 2022, involving a number of 197 students, 14 trainers, and 42 sessions organized in 7 partner high schools from 2 counties. Subsequently, in the second edition, the number of participants increased to 409 students, 31 trainers, 80 sessions organized in 14 partner high schools from 5 counties, and currently, in the third edition, it reached a number of 484 students, 41 trainers, and 72 sessions organized in 18 partner high schools from 8 counties, as follows:

- “Matei Basarab” National College from Bucharest;

- “Cantemir Vodă” National College from Bucharest;

- “Elena Cuza” National College from Bucharest;

- “Victor Slăvescu” Technological High School of Administration and Services from Ploiești;

- “Regina Maria” National Pedagogical College from Ploiești;

- “Apulum” Technical College from Alba Iulia;

- “Horea, Cloșca și Crișan” National College from Alba Iulia;

- “Costache Negruzzi” National College from Iași;

- “Virgil Madgearu” Economic College from Iași;

- “David Voniga” Theoretical High School from Giroc;

- “Ion Vidu” Art High School from Timișoara;

- “Emil Racoviță” Theoretical High School from Galați;

- “Traian Vuia” Auto Transport High School from Galați;

- “D. Cantemir” Economic College from Suceava;

- “M. Eminescu” National College from Suceava.

The fourth edition of the project will take place in the first half of 2024.
