The Institute of Financial Studies is pleased to announce the 6th edition of the European Financial Services Conference ECFS2022 SUSTAINABILITY AND RESILIENCE – NEW COORDINATES OF THE FINANCIAL MARKETS to be held on March 24-25, 2022, in Brasov.

The insurance, pension and investment sectors can play an important role in strengthening the response as a society and in fostering resilience. The actions and activities of the financial services sectors are designed to address sustainability risks so that insurers and pension funds can continue to provide relevant and accessible risk management solutions against natural disasters or poverty for vulnerable groups. Furthermore, there is concern for integrating sustainability considerations, from an environmental, social and governance perspective (ESG), into the regulatory and supervisory framework for financial markets.

Cyber risks, fraud attempts and the lack of basic financial knowledge of consumers have become significant exposures in the work of financial service providers and, at the same time, key points in their immediate strategy and action plans.

This year's conference is organized in a hybrid system and aims to be a forum for debate on the principles of sustainability and resilience, the innovation in financial services, the practical application of the latest legislation. The event also aims to add an economic and managerial perspective to the realities of the financial field, bringing together finance professionals, theorists and practitioners alike.
