Today, 11 April 2024, the Day of Financial Education, the Institute of Financial Studies received from the President of Romania, His Excellency Klaus Werner IOHANNIS, the “Industrial and Commercial Merit” distinction in the rank of Knight.
The decoration was presented by Mr. Cosmin MARINESCU, Presidential Advisor, on the occasion of the Financial Education Forum, 2nd edition, held at the National Bank of Romania.
“The decoration received today by the Institute of Financial Studies honors us. We will continue to emphasize financial education for all population categories. Financial education has become particularly important for a country’s development. A high level of financial education contributes to strong economic development through high financial inclusion,” stated Mr. Valentin IONESCU, President of ISF.
“The decoration received today by the Institute of Financial Studies honors and motivates us to continue our financial education projects. We are in the process of developing the ISF Strategy for the period 2024-2029, through which, alongside projects aimed at younger generations, we will focus on financial education projects for entrepreneurs and employees in companies and institutions,” emphasized Mr. University Professor Dr. Marian SIMINICĂ, Executive Director of ISF.
“The scope of the financial education programs carried out by the Institute of Financial Studies, programs dedicated to all socio-professional categories, but especially the outstanding results achieved in this field, have been recognized today at the highest level. It is a great honor for us, but above all, it is an additional motivation to continue, to develop new programs and new financial education projects,” concluded the Deputy Director of ISF, Mr. Cătălin CÂMPEANU.
